My Own Label Want My Downfall and I Will Not Renew My Contract With Them Again - STONEBWOY

The ‘ma ne me’ singer says he is not happy at the label and so he wants to opt out – Stonebwoy adds that the working environment at Zylofon is not the best for him Dancehall musician and Zylofon Music signee Stonebwoy has revealed plans to quit the music label. After signing to Zylofon Music for more than a year, the musician said he had no plans of renewing his contract with the label and so he would want to opt out.

According to Stonebwoy, known in private life as Livingstone Etse Satekla, he is simply not happy at the label, hence his decision not to renew his contract.

He revealed that the contract was signed in June 2015 adding that “though Zylofon has good intentions, all is not well at the label”. Stonebwoy refused to disclose how long the deal was signed for, but he said he believes strongly that some people at Zylofon Media always wanted him out of the deal. Stonebwoy’s relationship with Zylofon had been a smooth one until the joining of Shatta Wale earlier this years.

Though he had debunked reports and rumours that he was uncomfortable and being terrorized by Shatta Wale’s arrival at Zylofon Music, Stonebwoy has had many dramas at zylofone.

For instance, asirifibernard.blogspot.com reported his fracas with Artiste Manager at Zylofon, Bulldog, in which Stonebwoy allegedly fired gunshots. This, he said, has led to a strained relationship with Bulldog, adding that “there is no relationship at all”. He revealed further that he had wanted to opt out of the deal earlier, however, the issues were resolved and he decided to stay. “I will like to exit when the contract expires; unless there is something they can work on. I can’t see poison and drink it,” Stonebwoy reportedly said.

Shatta Wale is a Fake GANGSTA- stonebwoy

The blows on Shatta Wale is now coming from all angles and direction and his fans cannot be too happy about that.

For years Wale has gotten away with dissing other stars then later turning around to casually ask for unity but everyone is tired of his bullsh*t at this point.

Stonebwoy held a hugely explosive interview on Hitz Fm Sunday night with King Lagazee and the ‘Tomorrow’ hitmaker was on fire, speaking with raw emotion and revealing everything about his feud with Wale.

Stonebwoy, often a more reserved character that the fire and brimstone Shatta, also showed his ‘other side’ and he laid into Wale all night long.

Stonebwoy made it very clear that there’s no chance of peace between him and Shatta Wale anytime soon after the latter accused him of killing his mum!

You go and say I killed my mother and come back and text me that you want peace, you want to make music?” the BHIM nation boss fired.

After he dissed my mother and [you] come around and say you want friendship?”

Stonebwoy said Shatta is a fake gangsta and he has no interest in indulging in his hypocrisy anymore.

Fans Of Sarkodie Tears Shatta Wale Into Pieces On Twitter

One Musician who never shy away from controversies is self acclaimed Dancehall king in Ghana , Charles Nii Armah Mensah who is popularly known as Shatta Wale .

On Tuesday , as part of his media tour in order to promote his upcoming album , Shatta Wale passed through the studios of Hitz Fm on the Day break Hitz show which was hosted by Andy Dosty .

Shatta who always drops ‘bombshell’ on various interviews made an unfortunate comment on the CEO of Sarkcess music , Sarkodie which didn’t go down well with sarknatives ( fans of Sarkodie ).

According to Shatta Wale , Sarkodie can’t boast of gaining  enough money  from music although he deserved more than what he is getting now  due to his period in the industry .

He added that Sarkodie cannot boast of riches like he (Shatta Wale) does because he doesn’t have enough to boast of .

This statement angered Fans of Sarkodie as they descended on him severely on the ‘ayoo’ hit maker on twitter

In a rebuttal ‘tweet’ Shatta Wale blamed the fans for killing Sarkodie’s career and that they should shut up .

According to Shatta Wale , he tells Sarkodie the same things he said on radio when he sees him so he cannot fathom why his fans are behaving in an absurd manner .

Sarkodie Made Me SAD When He Didn’t Shoot A Music Video For Our Song But Rushed To Shoot One With A Nigerian–Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale and Sarkodie may be very close friends in the music industry, but today the dancehall artiste sort of ‘sold’ him out in a live radio interview with Hitz FM as part of his media tour to promote his upcoming album.

His interview with the Accra-based radio station was quite a lengthy one and he spoke about a lot of things. Shatta Wale in his interview expressed his disappointment in how some Ghanaian musicians go about the music business and how it affects him as a musician too.

It was during that discussion, that Shatta Wale disclosed that, Sarkodie had sent him a song for him to feature Strongman on it but has charged him a fee before he jumps on the feature. That revelation came after he was asked by the host if he’s ever charged Sarkodie for a feature.

The host, Andy Dosty was surprised that Shatta Wale was charging Sarkodie before featuring on Strongman’s song and asked him why he’s charging Sarkodie since he has a great relationship with him.

Shatta replied saying that, it’s true Sarkodie is a great friend but now it’s business and that when he featured him on their banger ‘Megye Wo Girl’, Sarkodie was never serious about shooting a music video for it but was very quick to shoot one when he featured another Nigerian artiste.

According to Shatta Wale, he reached out to Sarkodie on countless occasions on the need to shoot the video but he kept giving excuses and then the song faded away. He also added that, when he (Shatta Wale) featured Sarkodie on his song ‘Dancehall Commando’ back in 2014, he was broke then and so was expecting Sarkodie to support him to shoot the music video for him as a way of supporting him.

Patapaa Shares Story Of How His Family Lost Hope In His Music Career

Ghanaian musician Justice Amoah, better known as Patapaa, has revealed that he pilfered his mum’s coins in order for him to go to the studios.

Sharing his life story with Zionfelix on the Celebrity Ride show, Patapaa disclosed that he was a bartender at his mother’s pub at Agona Swedru in the Central Region, therefore making him steal some of the coins made at the pub in order to outshine in his career.

He also added that there was no one to assist him in his music career considering the background he was coming from at Swedru hence providing him with no option than to pick profit made out from the mum’s drinking business.

The ‘One Corner’ singer, however, explained that he wasn’t working aside assisting the mum in her pub so it was easy to be caught by the mum, adding that from the studios back to the pub, he had nowhere else to go.

According to him when the mum noticed that he was stealing from her she then released the need to be assisted in his music. He noted that ever since that day, his mum has been supporting him at all cost without giving up on him because she believed in his music dream.

Amused by his answer, Zionfelix further asked if the mum gave up in supporting the career, he said, ‘My mum knew my talent to be music because I was not doing any other job except music at that time so how can he have money to do his music, so it encouraged my mum to realise that the sonwas going to be great so she started helping me from time to time until God opened doors for me”

Patapaa also indicated that his talent was a gift from God because all his hit songs weren’t written by him or anyone but whenever he listened to rhythms, he flows out the lyrics.

The ace music producer detailed the benefits of selling a million copies of Shatta’s album on the streets. He said, “He will be creating a lot of jobs, listen I’m going to use the SM fans. I’m going to make sure the SM fans benefit, they are the ones who will chop the commission

According to Hammer, Shatta has a huge following which people seem to underrate.
“Look Shatta will sell 1 million copies; People underestimate the ‘following’ that boy has, and you see all I’m hearing is people don’t buy CD’s any more ‘Really’? Trust me it’s still being sold. I didn’t know all this until I got on the streets, people like things being delivered to them in person,” he said.

Disclosing how Shatta will be able to achieve the target he said “The boys already created SM Whatsapp groups, they have about 20 WhatsApp groups already named ‘REIGN ALBUM SALES’ and these are SM boys who are volunteering to be part of this,” he disclosed.

All this according to Hammer is a good thing for what the ‘Gringo’ hitmaker represents, someone who came to redirect the trend in the music industry.
You know I disrupted the market, before Shatta. The template was, you release a song, then a video, then you enjoy airplay and some sales for like one and a half months before you release your next song.”

“Shatta releases about 3 songs in a week and each song was a hit, he changed what we were used to and he is not getting credit for that. We need to give the credit due him.”

Stonebowy Reveals Why He And Shatta Wale Can Never Become  Friends.

Two prominent household names in Ghana when it comes to dancehall music are Shatta Wale and Stonebowy

Both artistes have risen and raised the flag of Ghana high in their genre of music for years now. That notwithstanding, both artistes are known to be enthusiastic rivals, something some industry players believe is good for showbiz.

Meanwhile, some fans of both artistes have called on them to make peace and bring out a collaboration.

Many Ghanaians describe Stonebowy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla as the calm type who would often choose to ignore controversies.

His nemesis, Shatta Wale, Born Charles Nii Armah, on the other hand has been described by many as the opposite of Stonebowy.

Shatta, according to many is the controversial type and a ‘bully’ who wouldn’t spare anyone who dares to step on his toes.

Stonebowy however believes that their character sets them apart. As a result, he and the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker can never be friends.

Speaking to Entertainment nation, Stonebwoy explained that although he has no grudge against Shatta wale he prefers to stick to himself rather than mingle with someone who badmouths him.

He maintained that, he and Shatta cannot be friends because they both have opposite mindsets and characters.

The ‘Bawasaba’ hitmaker was however, quick to add that he has nothing against Shatta Wale although they can’t be friends.

“If we are to collaborate and make music that’s fine but for us to be friends is not possible.  I don’t go around talking anyhow so I can’t mingle with people who behave as such.”

Shatta Wale reacts to Menzgold, BoG brouhaha

Shatta Wale has added his voice to the ongoing brouhaha between his boss, Nana Appiah Mensah’s Menzgold company and the Bank of Ghana (BoG).

The singer said he cannot fathom why BoG will condemn a company which is promoting the entertainment industry.

In a Snapchat video, he said: “Someone will say God help me, God help me. God has brought somebody too to help you and you’re there and you are doing like this thing. Then we still will be at track zero. Ei ma guy, Menzgold, I like it

BoG has recently warned the Ghanaian public to desist from making deposits at the gold-trading company, insisting they were in a breach of the financial laws of the state.

But CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah has, through a social media response, rubbished the claims, saying the Central Bank is wrong in its assertion and position on his outfits business.

Shatta Wale Finally Reveals Why He No Collaborated With Stonebwoy and Samini yet

Shatta Wale is currently on a media promoting his third studio album ‘The Reign’.

The seventeen track album which will debut soon features vocals from YBNL’s Olamide.

Speaking to Entertainment nation on reasons why he has not collaborated with label-mate Stonebwoy and his long time rival Samini, Shatta quipped;

“When will Amakye Dede feature Lumba on a song? The industry we have, we don’t really know much about showbiz but some artists feel they know better than every other act.

“Some time ago, I had a meeting with Samini and I told him about the strategies that comes with this and he didn’t agree. Right now I have the blueprint. I have seen the good side of the music and the bad side so if I say I am going to do a song with Stonebwoy, its going to be a different thing all together.

“Recently, I called Iwan and he didn’t pick up. People don’t know what comes with this music thing. So, Stonebwoy, somebody should advice him that I came out before he came out so he should let us do a song. We shouldn’t be like Amakye Dede and Lumba who have not done a collaboration yet.”

Shatta Wale jabs Yaa Pono over Again

Controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale says fellow musician and rival Yaa Pono is not a serious business person and he will have to pay him for a collaboration because he disrespected him.

In an interview on Happy FM’s Ayekoo after drive show hosted by DJ Advicer,he stated that,

“I will collaborate with Yaa Pono if he only he can pay me, because this is a business.

I want him to learn something, If you are an artiste and you want to beef you should know how to feed people, if you want to beef with Shatta you have to be serious because look at me, I’m very serious.”

According to Shatta, even though Pono is a good artiste, he is oblivious of what he is doing and so he is one of the artistes Ghana should not look up to because he does not not have a vision like he Shatta does.

“He needs to know much about business. He doesn’t know what he is doing. Yaa Pono is a good artiste.

He has disrespected me, so he will pay if he wants to collaborate with me

Some of these boys are not people that Ghana should look up to because they don’t have that vision that I have,” he said.

He further stated that any Ghanaian artiste fighting him will fall, and mocked Yaa Pono to release a new hit or pay him to write a new hit song for him.

“Most of these Ghana artiste should know that if they try to fight me, they will all fall. People should come so we learn .Yaa Pono, your hits have taken so long, people keep asking when your next hit is coming , your songs don’t go anywhere, don’t feel shy, come and lets write a hit for you , you just have to pay somethimg small,” he ridiculed

Shatta Wale Fan Builds A Statue For Him Ahead Of Reign Album Launch ( Photos)

There’s no doubt that Shatta Wale has the most loyal fanbase here in Ghana and even the biggest. People just love him and each time he makes appearances anywhere, thousands troop in just to catch a glimpse of him. Out of the love people have for him, one student has built a statue for him.

The student artiste who is from TTU has built a statue for the ‘Gringo’ hitmaker as a gift to show him how much he loves and appreciates his music. He also did it for him as a ‘Thank You’ for motivating and positively impacting the youth with his music.

The Statue as seen in the pictures below is a clone of how the dancehall king usually comes up on stage when performing. That famous boxer shorts and his gold chains will certainly remind you, you are staring at Wale—Ummm, it seems one looks slightly handsome than our Wale….

AsirifiBernard.blogspot.com has learned that the artist would deliver the statue to Shatta Wale on the night of the launch of his Reign Album.

Shatta Wale Details Why Kwesi Arthur is Making Hits Now

Shatta Wale in a latest interview has commended Ground UP act Kwesi Arthur on his pen game and vocal abilities.

The ‘Gringo’ hitmaker talking about why he created certain songs revealed he aimed for not just trends but what the masses was vibing to at the time he was making his record.

Shatta then pointed to the success of BET Awards nominee Kwesi Arthur as an example of an artist who understood trends and creating music people want to vibe to.

“This thing is business and so no one should take it personal. If you take it personal, you are going to go down. There’s Kwesi Arthur coming. If you are a rapper and you are not doing it like Kwesi Arthur then you will fade soon. I like him a lot just like Future, if you don’t do it like Kwesi Arthur and the rest do it you are going to start complaining like Snoop Dogg.

“They claim rappers are now singing and mumbling but if you cannot mumble then why don’t you stop. Music is about trends and you have to adjust to trends to stay trendy.

Shatta Wale is currently on a media run to detail what went into creating ‘The Reign’ album which is scheduled to premiere on October 13 at the Fantasy Dome in Trade Fair.
