School children jubilated over shatta and Stonebwoy reunion

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy reuniting have sent waves across the music fraternity in Ghana, Africa and the world as a whole

Everyone is overjoyed of the reunion as it is in a good way for Ghana Music. The two artists have urged their fans to unite to champion the unity course they have started but it seems these school children are the ones who have expressed their joy most.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy got involved in a brawl during the 2019 VGMAs. They have since patched up and are set to perform at a Unity Concert slated for 20th July 2010.

The two have stated that they will collaborate on projects from now onwards and this press conference is to give Ghanaians more details on how their future together will look like.

We are waiting for shatta and bhim for a banger - bhim and wale fans,

This is a difficult question to answer, given the fact that the two houses’ bosses have been fighting for years.

However, there has been some positive development these recent years.

Last year in October, Stonebwoy was having a concert at Ashaiman, and guess who came to perform at the latter part of it? Shatta wale of course.

Early this year, January 31, Shatta Wale signed a 3-year management deal with Zylofon Music, a record label owned by Ghanaian entertainment powerhouse Zylofon Media. This is how he joined Stonebwoy under the same umbrella.

A few days ago on Instagram, a user asked; “Collaboration with Shatta Wale?” the Bhim nation boss replied, “Soon time”.
This might just mean what it means:

xnxxxxxxx

Congratulations to shatta wale for his lucrative deal - bhim fans.

Shatta Wale keeps winning as he extends his ambassadorial contract with Storm Energy Drink; a subsidiary of the Kasapreko Company limited to produce new edition of the popular beverage.

Storm Energy has become the preferred number one drink on the Ghanaian market and has scooped some awards, thanks to Shatta Wale who was made the brand ambassador of the drink few years ago.

We don’t have much details about what the contract constitutes but Wale himself took to Instagram to break the good news to his ever loyal fans.

He wrote;

Shatta signs multimillion dollar deal to produce Special Edition Storm for the SM fans” God bless SM fans all over the world !!!

Shatta wale and Stonebwoy beef settled

It has been several days of intense feelings between the two camps of Ghana’s biggest dancehall artistes; Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

From the VGMA brawl to being arrested and sleeping in police cells to being arraigned before court to being banned from the VGMAs. The two artistes have finally made peace after a long time.

In a recent picture posted by Shatta Wale, both artistes are seen sitting next to each other in a garden; they probably had gone to meet some big men.

It could also be that both artistes went to apologize to the Charterhouse CEO and the board officially.

Here is the screenshot posted by Shatta below:

Shatta wale swap three cars and add small money for that ferrari- kush taylor

A Former Top Member of Shatta Movement, Kush Taylor, has exposed how Shatta Wale got his supposed 1Million Dollar Ferrari.

Many are simply not believing Shatta anymore when it comes to him claiming ownership over expensive things. Because it always emerge later that the things are either not his or he bought them at very cheap prices.

Well, Kush Taylor in multiple Facebook posts have alleged that Shatta Wale actually swapped 3 of his cars in exchange for the Ferrari he’s driving around

It’s more or less like swapping. So Shatta Wale took along 3 of his cars with additional money and his was given the Ferrari in exchange.

Stonebwoy contract with us is not terminated - Samsung director

Unfortunate news reaching massiveupdates.com indicates that mobile phone company Samsung has terminated Stonebwoy’s contract as brand ambassador for the company due to his recent behavior at the VGMAs.

Stonebwoy who was recently signed as an ambassador for Samsung couldn’t control his temper when his rival Shatta Wale walked to the VGMA stage after he was announced as best reggae and dancehall artist of the year and therefore pulled a gun as self defence.

The company after contemplating over the chaos has decided to cancel his contract because they can’t work someone who pulls a gun when provocated.

VGMA on the other hand has banned from the scheme.

The accusation saying Samsung have terminated his contract is totally false

Stonebwoy released from Police custody.

Two dancehall musicians, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were arrested yesterday and forced to spend the night in police custody for their involvement in the chaos that occurred during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Shatta Wale had approached the stage where Stonebwoy was about to deliver his acceptance speech after he was announced as the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year.

The fight that broke out after Shatta Wale tried to get onto the stage also saw Stonebwoy pull out a gun.

Hours after this occurred, the police arrested the two key individuals and another person of interest called Nii Amoo.

Nii Amoo, according to the police, was seen “discharging pepper spray in the auditorium.”

In a statement signed by DSP Effia Tenge, the Head of Public Affairs Unit at the Greater Accra Police Regional Command, all three (Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Nii Amoo) have now been “granted bail to be arraigned” in due time.

As Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Nii Amoo wait for their time in court, the police said “the event organizers are also cooperating with the police in this investigation.”

This issue could take an uglier turn for all three involved.

Bhim nation have BET and NICKELODEON so our target is GRAMMY - STONEBWOY

Ghanaian dancehall star, Stonebwoy, has been named the Favourite African Star at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

Stonebwoy won the award after beating competition from three other African stars, Nigeria’s Adesua Etomi-Wellington and IK Osakioduwa, and Kenya’s Sauti Sol.

By his win, the Top Skanka hitmaker becomes the first ever African first African Dancehall Artist to win both a BET and Nickelodeon award.

Stonebwoy won BET's International Act (Africa) award in 2015.

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (also known as the KCAs or Kids' Choice) is an annual American children's awards ceremony show that is produced by Nickelodeon.

The show honours the year's biggest television, movie, and music acts as voted by viewers worldwide of Nickelodeon networks.

Held on March 23, 2019, at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California, this year's edition was the 32nd overall.

The awards show was hosted by American DJ, songwriter, record producer, media personality, and record executive DJ Khaled.

My target for now is Grammy nomination and dream of winning it-Stonebwoy

Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy missed out on what would have been a historic win at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

A win by Morgan Heritage in the ‘Best Reggae Album’ category would have made the ‘Mama’ act the first Ghanaian to win a Grammy award.

The ‘Avrakedabra’ album by the legendary reggae group on which he is featured lost to Damian Marley’s ‘Stony Hill‘ at the awards event held on Sunday, January 28.

‘Chronology’ by Chronixx, ‘Lost in Paradise’ by Common Kings and ‘Wash House Ting’ by J Boog were the other albums in the category.

Stonebwoy became the second Ghanaian to earn a Grammy nomination for his feature on ‘Reggae Night (Global Remix)’ on the album by the reggae group released on May 19, 2017.

The 2018 Grammy Awards was held at the Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York, United States of America, and was hosted by Comedian James Corden.

There were performances by Bruno Mars and Cardi B, Elton John, SZA, DJ Khaled with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, Childish Gambino, Lady Gaga, Logic with Alessia Cara and Khalid, and more
It was the first time since 2003 that the ceremony was held outside Los Angeles (where the Staples Center had been the home of the awards.)

I never said all the awards shatta wale won belongs to me -Stonebwoy

President and leader of Bhim Nation Stonebwoy has expressed his disappointment at the organizers of 3Music awards and it’s also the first time he has spoken since the event was held some weeks ago.

Stonebwoy in this year’s edition of the award show lost heavily to his label mate and closest contender in the music industry Shatta Wale who won eight (8) awards with Stonebwoy winning just three (3).

After the show, several people on social media accused the organizers of the show for selling the awards out to Shatta Wale.

In an interview with George Quaye on Showbiz A to Z on Joy Fm last Saturday, Stonebwoy stated that he believes he actually deserved some of the awards his rival took home on the night.

Da-Costa is heading for more troubles than he could bear judging from his recent post on his Instagram handle that is causing a lot of reactions.

The fast rising star wrote:

I will choose a good music over 8 Awards for konko songs. Music is a tool to Entertain & Communicate and nothing else i believe. So i would not do music with the motive of picking up awards but do music because i LOVE it and use it as a tool to Entertain and Communicate. Lets look at the bigger picture guys. ”

It could be recalled that Shatta Wale won 8 Awards at the recent 3 Music Awards.

Shatta Wale Is Ungrateful - Blade

He called their front liner, Charles nii Armah and populary called shatta wale an ungrateful.

There is was small misunderstanding between the two closest brothers.

I Regret Joining Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale Is Ungrateful - Blade

The dancehall ‘king’ Shatta Wale has sacked close friends Stone, Bone, Blade, good over evil and pope skinny from his Shatta movement camp.

The controversial artiste’s facebook post seems to suggest he discarded them after making a scathing video about him.

But later accepted them back into his life and camp only for him to realize they came with a prejudiced mind.
He said they prevented love ones from coming close to him.

In a lengthy Facebook post, the artiste, real name, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, shared a video with the caption;

“After this video I accepted you guys and now you came back with a mind to really fuck up my shatta movement .No wonder they never wanted people to come close to me ,I mean people who got love ..People forget soo soon… my people beware of people you forgive when people say do ..Listen to yourself and don’t trust and make nobody make your decision for you .. God forgives us so I tried to forgive but little did they know I also had a back up plan .. Beware of stone ,Bone , blade , good over evil and pope skinny .. They will never be part of my Journey anymore .. Anything they come out to say is Fabricated .. God guide me and my militants ??????”

This is not the first time Pope Skinny, in particular, has been suspended or sacked from the Shatta movement family.

The first time was when he retweeted the ‘advice’ diss song from Sarkodie to Shatta Wale. It got him banned from the movement for several weeks until they recently reunited.

And this coming up again on the back of that might be the last time we will ever see Shatta Wale with Skinny.

Shatta Wale in recent past has parted ways with close pals like Ara B, Deportee among others.

Am The King of Afrobeat In Ghana Now- Kelvynbwoy

Kelvynboy has declared himself as the leading Afrobeats artiste in Ghana currently in an exclusive interview with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show during the launch of Stonebwoy’s Independence Concert recently.

The ‘Na You’ hitmaker made the point that all the other acts in Ghana who do things related to Afrobeats are either doing something Afro Dancehall, Afro Hiplife or something different.

Kelvynboy is undoubtedly one of the most talented young artistes in Ghana who is being chased for a lot of features and collaborations.

Attention isn’t on him fully because of his style which seeks to mimic his godfather, Stonebwoy.

I am sorry, the man was not dead, he was a live”, he said in an interview.

Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries who is said to have resurrected a man who was in a coffin at the weekend, has said he regrets the incident as the man was already alive when he arrived at the church.

Speaking to Gauteng broadcaster Power FM’s Power Drive host Thabiso Tema on Wednesday evening, Lukau said he was busy with a sermon on Sunday when he was interrupted and told that a person in a coffin had been brought to the church.

“Before entering the premises of the church, the coffin began to shake, meaning the person was alive,” Lukau explained. “I am really sorry for the misrepresentation of facts, the man was not dead and has never been in the mortuary as we earlier said”,

When asked by the host why the man had been brought to the church in the first place, Lukau said: “I am not sure if I can make a statement that he was brought to me. We are the house of God and I’m just a pastor serving in the house of the Lord. But I am sorry that we didn’t tell people the truth in the first place”, he said.

Lukau said the man was brought to the church by his family, who believed that something would happen if he was prayed for.

He added that further questions about why the man was brought to the church would be better answered by the man’s family.

I think that they brought the person to church because they believed that God had the ability to resurrect the person. but still our brother was a live even before brought to church and we really apologize for not telling the truth in the first place,” Lukau said.
